Back Acne is not as common as facial acne, back acne can be much more severe at times. This is why men and women have to know all about treating or trying to prevent back acne so they don't have to live with its torturous effects on their lives.
If you have super severe back acne, your best bet would be to see a dermatologist so he can see what he or she is fighting against. That way, your case can be properly diagnosed and have treatments or proper hygiene to prevent the acne on the back. In most cases, Accutane containing isotretinoin would be prescribed to treat the existing severe acne on the back in your case.
However, treating back acne that is only a mild case it can be cured or prevented with any of the following methods or treatments:
1/. Having a bath or shower with an over the counter body wash or soap that is designed for treating back acne is one of the top best effective ways at solving this torturous skin condition that you may have. Most of the over the counter body washes available in our drug stores either contains benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. These solutions that we mentioned are particularly effective at fighting or preventing acne in the near future.
2/.It will also help if you keep your tops, sweaters and shirts that you wear are clean. Using clean shirts, sheets and towels can prevent the build up of acne-causing bacteria if you sweat when you are sleeping or playing sports..
3/.After bathing or showering after playing sports, it is also a good idea to use gels or lotions containing benzoyl peroxide. The main factor with applying these solutions is making sure that the skin is thoroughly dry before it is applied. Giving product to allow to dry fully before you put tops sweaters or shirts on.
4/.Using a sugar wash to exfoliate the back is a great way to wash the back acne as well as prevent it from developing further. But make sure it is a sugar-based wash and not salt-based wash, as the salt-based washes can sometimes worsen the acne condition.
5/.There is a few topical and oral medications are also available for the treatment of back acne. These include topical or oral medicatioins containing antibiotics like tetracycline, doxycycline, minocycline and erythromycin.
These are perhaps the most effective ways to solve or prevent your back acne problems. You should try these methods for any minor or mild cases of acne on the back. But I do say that any severe acne on the back see a dermatologist to have your existing acne diagnosed and then treated.
